Apple rolls out the world’s thinnest laptop

Not to be outdone, Steve Jobs launched his company’s new product by opening a standard sized manila envelope and taking out his new laptop.

Standard features include:

  1. Thickness: 0.76 inches (closed); 0.16 inches (open).
  2. Hard drive: 80-gigabytes (with the option of a 64GB flash-based solid state drive)
  3. External CD/DVD Drive (optional)
  4. Screen: 13.3″
  5. Keyboard: Full sized
  6. Retail Price: $1,799-
