Clean Your Hard Drive
Going around the net and reading other blogs (yes, I spend more time reading other posts), I noticed this call center agent talking about the need to wipe clean his terminals hard drive because there may be files in there that he may not want anybody else to see.
Thinking about it, I realized that during corporate witch hunts, it will not be difficult for one’s enemies to find garbage in anybody’s hard drive. Malware that lurks in a lot of websites can install itself into your hard drive and send messages to a lot of people using your email account. In addition, malicious software can actually cause your browser to visit child porm sites, click ads and many other things.
My advice? Install a good hardware cleaner. You can probably find a good one for free at www.download.com
